Meetings and Deadlines: 1) The first PVNet team meeting will be held on Sunday, September 28, 2025, at 4:00 PM. 2) After the first meeting, teams will meet every Sunday at 4:00 PM at PVNet for approximately 2 hours. These sessions will be focused on brainstorming, planning, and refining experiment ideas specifically for the suborbital spacecraft challenge (PVNet is not competing in the balloon category). 3) All team proposals must be submitted online by November 3, 2025, at 11:59 PM PT. This is the official NASA deadline, and no late entries will be accepted. About the Competition This event is all about innovation, creativity, and impact. Students will: - Design experiments for flight on a NASA-sponsored suborbital spacecraft. - Work in teams under the guidance of a teacher or mentor. - Prepare and submit proposals following NASA’s rules. You will receive a reminder email prior to the first meeting. By registering, you agree to PVNet’s terms and policies. This is your chance to take part in a real NASA mission—designing an experiment that could fly to the edge of space and give you hands-on experience unlike anything taught in a classroom.
