If you are a new student and have not participated in the Exploratory Internship before, please schedule a meeting with the director. This meeting helps you understand the wide range of technologies and career exploration opportunities available and ensures the internship is a good fit for your goals.
This internship provides a rare opportunity to explore your true interests and abilities before making future academic and career decisions. Many traditional school programs expose students to only a small portion of the technologies and career paths that exist today.
Exploratory interns enroll in one course to serve as a foundation and help develop the technical skills needed to participate effectively in internship projects.
This is your opportunity to explore, discover, and make informed decisions about your future.

California Science and Engineering Fair Opportunity
As part of the Exploratory Internship, students may develop original project ideas that can be submitted to respected competitions such as the California Science and Engineering Fair, turning exploration into meaningful academic achievement.

Course Requirement
Exploratory interns must enroll in at least one Fall course to provide a foundational focus area.
Accumulate Service Hours
Time spent supporting PVNet operations and community service may count toward:
