Want to build cool electronic projects? Soldering is one of the most useful skills for electronics, robotics, invention, and engineering.
In this beginner-friendly workshop, students learn how to safely use a soldering iron, solder electronic parts, and understand how components connect to make a circuit work.
Students will practice the basics, learn how to make clean solder joints, and complete a fun starter project to build confidence.
Students will learn:
- How to safely use soldering tools
- How solder connects electronic parts
- How to identify basic components
- How to make clean solder joints
- How to complete a beginner electronics project
This is a great first step for students who want to build real electronic devices.

1) All materials and soldering stations will be provided during this workshop.
2) We've provided extra time in this workshop to make sure students can complete their projects. Some students will only need 1 hour and some students will need more time. For reach individual student, they may leave when their project is completed and the class will end when all students are done.
