    Digital Art & Visual Design with Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator

    Create original digital artwork, graphics, textures, and visual concepts for games, movies, animation, 3D projects, and print.
    In this hands-on class, students will learn how to use Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator to create and edit professional-quality digital artwork. Students will explore both raster-based image editing and vector graphics while developing practical skills used in graphic design, concept art, character design, environment development, game production, animation, advertising, and 3D content creation.
    Students will learn how to create original artwork, edit and combine images, design logos and graphics, develop character and environment concepts, create textures for 3D models, and prepare finished artwork for digital and print use.

    Topics include:
    -Photoshop and Illustrator fundamentals
    -Image editing and photo enhancement
    -Layers, masks, selections, and compositing
    -Digital painting and concept development
    -Character and environment concept art
    -Color, composition, typography, and visual balance
    -Vector drawing and illustration
    -Logo and graphic design
    -Creating textures for 3D models
    -Designing backgrounds, posters, and promotional graphics
    -Preparing artwork for games, animation, 3D projects, websites, and print
    -Exporting files in the correct formats and resolutions for different uses

    By the end of the class, students will have created a portfolio of original digital artwork and gained practical experience with two of the most widely used professional tools in graphic design, digital art, animation, game development, advertising, and visual media.
