    Please note: PVNet is A Nonprofit 501(c)(3) charitable organization and program fees are subsidized. =============================== SCHOLARSHIP & HUGE DISCOUNT FOR STUDENTS WHO LOVE SCIENCE & RESEARCH =============================== - Get a $400 scholarship to reduce the internship fee to $2400. - Receive $1000 discount for Sci & Eng Fair Internship when you register for the DNA Sequencing & Research course. Internship Hours: At student's discretion. We recommend 4-6 hrs. per week but do not place a requirement on students. For financial assistance please contact us directly at Education@PVNet.com. HEAD START ON THE COMPETITION As an intern you will have 8 months to decide on a exploring Science & Engineering, decide on a project, learn new professional skills, and work on your project with the the incredible benefit of having a mentor. INTERNS RECEIVE THE FOLLOWING SUPPORT (partial list) ======================== * Mentor for student's project available for up to 1 hr per week on a scheduled basis. * Presentation & Documentation guidance -- Mentors will be available to review intern docs & presentations and provide feedback * Limited number of free and discounted workshops to help Sci & Eng interns gain needed skills -- 3D Printing, Lab procedures, CAD, Robotics, Coding, and others * Use of PVNet facilities & equipment -- Training will be required and assistance will be provided to interns requesting use of equipment. * No charge for up to 20 Hrs. 3D printing & 10 Hrs. laser cutting -- Students may request to have their 3D models printed or laser cut. -- Once the free limit has been met there will be minimal fees for additional service. * DNA PCR & Sequencer, Various Lab Equip., EEG brainwave equip., VR systems, etc. which require training and supervision -- Interns are responsible for all consumables costs. * A place to meet, work, research, think & much more. - Monday - Saturday during the school year * Interns are encouraged to spend time at PVNet meeting with other interns and working on projects..
