filter_dramaClass DescriptionHEAD START ON THE COMPETITION: =========================== As an intern you will have 8 months to decide on a project, learn new professional skills, and work on your project with the the incredible benefit of having a mentor. Homeschool students are welcome too, and may participate in the fair through PVNet!
INTERNS RECEIVE THE FOLLOWING SUPPORT (and more!): =========================================
- 2 hours of project mentorship per week
- Presentation & Documentation guidance
- - Our mentors are available to review the student's work and provide feedback
- Free and discounted workshops to help Science & Engineering students gain needed skills
- - Workshops: 3D Printing, Lab procedures, CAD, Robotics, Coding, and more!
- Use of PVNet facilities & equipment
- 20 hours of 3D printing & 10 hours of laser cutting included!
- - Students may request to have their 3D models printed or laser cut.
- - Once the included time limit has been reached, there will be minimal fees for additional services.
- DNA PCR & Sequencer, Various Lab Equip., EEG brainwave equip., VR systems, etc.
- A place to meet, work, research, think & much more.
- Monday - Friday each week during summer
- Tuesday - Saturday each week during the school year
- Interns are encouraged to spend time at PVNet meeting with other interns and working on projects.
SCHOLARSHIPS & HUGE DISCOUNTS: ===============================- Limited $400 scholarships available for this internship. Please contact us at education@pvnet.com for availability.
- Receive $1000 discount for this class when you register for either the DNA Sequencing & Research or the Vertical Farming Research (in the same semester).
- FREE COURSE: Indoor Vertical Farming Research course is FREE when you register for the Science & Engineering Fair Project Development Internship.
