No experience needed. This class is for beginners who have never coded! This course taken with the Java 2 course together are equivalant to AP CS A level course materials.
In this introductory Java Computer Science Skills course, students will gain hands-on experience writing, compiling, and executing Java programs. The class is designed to teach Java coding & computer science skills in a relatively small class setting in order to offer students the support they need to fully understand concepts that may elude them in a larger classroom setting.
If you're interested in or planning on enrolling in computer science classes, this experience will give you a huge advantage and head start.
