SAVE $1200 !!! and register for free. Want to register for this internship at no cost? It's easy - just register for any 2 or more summer classes where the combined cost equals or exceeds the fee for this internship. Why are we offering this? Because this non profit org and we volunteers want you to receive a better education and make the world a better place than it is now. Millions of people and animals require use of a wheelchair of some type. This multi-disciplinary internship program brings together many exciting opportunities to learn, design, and create. There is something for everyone in this superb internship opportunity. For example. here are just some of the skill areas to which interns will be exposed and from which they jmay select their area(s) of focus: - - Engineering - - Art & Ergonomics - - Animal rehabilitation (rear paralyzed dog) - - Healthhcare (humans use wheelchairs) - - CAD design - - 3D printing - - Veterinary medicine (related to wheelchairs for dogs) - - Workshop fabrication processes (hands on) and interns may each choose the area(s) in which they most wish to participate. Interns will receive input and advice from a veterinarian and be able to evaluate and assess a professionally made dog wheel chair and it's use by a disabled dog.. Real World Experience ================ Working alone, collaborating with a partner, or working as a team (important skills to learn), interns will prototype and refine their ideas to build and bring their final design to life and see it used by a paralyzed dog in need! This will be a fantastic project to include in a college packet and resume. BENEFITS: too many to list =================== - Small work group size = more attention - Enhanced experience far beyond high schools and even many colleges. - Opportunities for professional development - Excellent for improving academic & job opportunities Please note: PVNet is A Nonprofit 501(c)(3) charitable organization and all program fees are subsidized. By registering for the class, you agree to PVNet's terms and policies. All Selections are final. No refunds or exchanges.
