If you like robotics - take this fun class to get a solid foundation especially if you plan to join a robotics team, club, or are interested in pursuing a Mechatronics (robotics) degree. You will learn the basics of making a robot, 3D CAD design which is important for learning how robot parts are created, some of the parts you design will be 3D printed and you’ll learn about the electronics that make the robot work. Robotics requires a fundamental knowledge of programming such as python which is an easy to learn language. Students will learn CAD design, to create test rigs, connect sensors, act on collected data and learn about electronics as necessary for working with these components. Whether you are a hobbyist or a young engineer you will find this a well rounded starting point. Class size is purposely kept very small so everyone gets personal attention and support.
