See videos on PVNet web site at This is an incredible hands-on project-based summer class for students to design and 3D print a model house. Mentored by professional architects, 3D printing designers. Students will learn to use 3D design software to create their models. Instructors will teach students 3d design techniques needed to successfully print their models. Mentors and guest presenters will discuss how the industry is being disrupted, and how traditional design concepts are being abandoned because of 3D printing capabilities. Special Guest Speakers: Along the way students will be introduced to technologies that are aligned with NASA's research projects for designing & 3d printing structures on other planets. Classes include lab time and 3D Computer Aided Design (CAD) design training. At the conclusion of the class, Students are welcomed to take home their 3D printed design.
