Want to explore research? Coding? Computer games? 3D printing? Graphic design? Robotics? Video/Audio editing or production? Biotech? Engineering and design? These and many more areas of exploration are available. Included with this Internship are occasional STEM workshops, events and activities. ATTENDANCE: Interns may come in as much as they wish whenever they wish to independently work on their projects during these hours - M - F, 2pm - 7pm - Saturdays 1pm - 7pm As an Intern you will love this because PVNet is "your place" to explore, find new interests and build new relationships. This creates long lasting and inspiring bonds. In addition, interns are given access to participate in field trips, private workshops, events and activities otherwise not offered to the public. Please note: This internship requires one of the following: - Student must register for a minimum of 1 qualifying Fall course - Student must a minimum of 1 hr tutoring weekly for the duration of the internship. PRESIDENTIAL AWARD ================== The time you spend working on PVNet assignments will accrue hours towards all of the following: - Presidential Award - Community Service - Volunteering hours EXPLORATION IS VITIAL ================= - This exploratory program enables you to discover, gain knowledge & skills, and become immersed in many different areas of interest. - Each Internship is unique, therefore Interns have the freedom to explore and find subjects and technologies that interest them. - Interns will have the opportunity to work hands on within departments to perform tasks which serve the community. PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT ====================== - Start learning how to be a professional. - The experience you have here will prepare you and contribute to a successful career. PREPARE FOR YOUR FUTURE ==================== - The ideal start for interns is to identify subjects that are most interesting and take the classes, learn the basics, apply your skills, and if it's not your thing there are many more areas to explore. - You can go in depth and complete a project. Work by yourself or with fellow explorers. Interns at PVNet are provided access to the largest collection of career based technology in the South Bay.
