Cardiac surgery is the crown jewel of operative medicine, where technical precision and speed are critical to navigating life-and-death thoracic conditions. This 24-hour intensive course challenges students to develop both finesse and efficiency while mastering advanced cardiac surgical techniques.
Training begins with cardiac cannulation for cardiopulmonary bypass, followed by simulated coronary artery bypass grafting and aortic, mitral, and tricuspid valve replacement and repair.
