    Students are welcome to produce their own music during this class! Taught by a professional Editor/Producer, this course provides students with the opportunity to learn the basics of recording and producing your own original song. Students will learn to record their own music compositions and perhaps find others with whom to collaborate. - Students will be taught recording and editing skills using professional software currently used in the music industry. These are skills students can continue to build on. This class and the professional software used is not offered in high school. The course is low cost, takes minimal time, uses industry standard programs and builds confidence. If you or your student are creative and like to create original music, then you/he/she will most certainly be interested in learning how professionals do it. Audio Editing and Music Production is immensely rewarding, so feed their interest by signing them up for this class! TOPICS INCLUDED: ================== How to record yourself using a digital audio workstation using Ableton Live during live recording sessions. Techniques to record music and voices Over-dubbing and mixing Learning the ins and outs of professional audio hardware, mixers, and software. Use of high-quality microphones, audio interfaces, pre-amps, compressors, equalizers, and much more!
