If your creative student is interested in video editing, feed their interest by signing them up for this class. Students will gain basic skills currently being used in the industry today - skills they can keep and continue to build on. By the way these skills are not offered in high school. This course is low cost, takes minimal time, uses industry standard programs and builds confidence and hope. Students will be taught skills using Adobe Premiere Video Editing software--one of the 3 leading industry standard video editing programs that students will need to know in order to be accepted into top media arts schools like UCLA, USC, and CalArts. Take this course and receive a WASC accredited certificate for an elective course that is accepted by colleges along with student's high school transcripts.
