Students will be taught skills using professional software currently used in the industry - these are skills students can continue to build on. These skills are not offered in high school. This course is low cost, takes minimal time, uses industry standard programs and builds confidence. TOPICS INCLUDED: ================== Using digital audio workstations focusing on the use of Ableton Live, live recording sessions to record music and sound. Learning the ins and outs of professional audio hardware, mixers, and software. Using Ableton Live, a professional industry standard software. Making and learning the art of foley. Use of high-quality microphones, audio interfaces, pre-amps, compressors, equalizers, and much more! This is a great way for young musicians and music-lovers to gain knowledge about how music and sound effects impact videos and films. around the world.
