Join this research and innovation internship to develop, design, and build a control link to a robot which will be controlled by the brain computer interface. You will learn a multitude of concepts and technologies. This research project is primarily an independent and self directed research and development project with help from mentors when needed. All materials will be provided for development and design at no additional cost. You can pick your own time slots throughout the week, according to your schedule. There is no minimum hour requirement for this research project. Interns may come in at any time M - F between the hours of 3pm and 8pm to meet and work on this project, along with 1pm to 8pm on Saturdays. This project may be eligible to participate in the LA County Science Fair with PVNet. Eligibility for the PV Science Fair as part of a high school science research program may be possible, but must be approved by your school. Please ask your high school's science research teacher for further information. ***IMPORTANT: The first meeting for this research project will take place on Saturday, August 26th, 2023 at 1pm at PVNet.*** Millions of people require use of electronic bio-interfaces to connect with robotic devices. This multi-disciplinary internship program brings together many exciting opportunities to learn, design, and create. There is something for everyone in this superb internship opportunity. For example. here are just some of the skill areas to which interns will be exposed and from which they may select their area(s) of focus: - - Engineering - - Healthhcare - - CAD design - - 3D printing - - Neurotechnology and Neuroscience - - Computer science, software development - - Workshop fabrication processes (hands on) Real World Experience ================ Working alone, collaborating with a partner, or working as a team (important skills to learn), interns will prototype and refine their ideas to build and bring their final design to life and see it actually working! This will be a fantastic project to include in a college packet and resume.
