    Taught by a professional Editor/Producer, this course provides students with the opportunity to learn the basics of creating and adding sound effects to video and movies. Are you taking a game design or video editing class at school? Ask your teacher if they will give you extra credit for the work you do in this class. Let your teacher know that this course is being taught by a CTE credentialed instructor. Students will be taught skills using professional software currently used in the industry - these are skills students can continue to build on. These skills are not offered in high school. This course is low cost, takes minimal time, uses industry standard programs and builds confidence. If your creative student is interested in game design, audio editing and music production or film, this is the perfect class for them, so sign them up! TOPICS INCLUDED: ================== Using digital audio workstations focusing on the use of Ableton Live. Learn about sound design. Learning the art of Foley - sound effects recording.
